Running Summary August 2025
I did not run much in August, but I am injury-free.
A year ago my running was going well, but I was experiencing soreness of my right Achilles tendon, and that prevented me from running a half marathon in Rhode Island in early September. That problem, fortunately has gone away. Earlier this summer my problem was in my left knee, with occasional but not severe pain. That problem has also gone away.
I ran only six times in August for a total of fifteen miles with no knee or Achilles problems. I ran so little because I was focused on bicycling, riding up to 35 miles per day to prepare for short bicycle tours in September.
